This is a temporary disruption in the connection of your computer to the Norton server.
You can solve this yourself by closing the Norton program and restart. Perform the activating again by following these steps:
- Click on Help in your Norton software program
- Click on Add a product key
- Follow the instructions and insert your key when needed. Log in with your Norton account or create one if you don’t already have one: https://my.norton.com/
